Best time to travel

Built around first light, this tour rewards February to July, when the dry zone delivers the clearest dawns at Anuradhapura, Sigiriya and Yala, and tea-country mist at Nuwara Eliya still forms most mornings regardless of season. The Galle finale is best kept ahead of the south-west monsoon, from December to April.
