Best time to travel

This unhurried route touches the dry zone, the hills and the south coast, so February to April offers the most reliable weather throughout. Visiting May to September still suits the Cultural Triangle and hills well, though the south-west monsoon can bring wetter afternoons to the coastal finish.

Packing list

  • Lightweight breathable clothing for coast and lowlands
  • A warm layer for hill country evenings
  • Modest attire for temple visits (shoulders and knees covered)
  • Comfortable walking shoes and sandals
  • Sun protection, insect repellent and refillable water bottle
  • Camera and binoculars for wildlife safaris

Good to know

  • All itineraries are fully private and can be tailored to your interests.
  • Order of destinations may be adjusted to optimise weather and events.
  • Pricing is available on request — contact us for a custom quotation.
